A heritage of Prayer: The Hebridean Revival

  • Wydale Hall Wydale Lane Scarborough, England, YO13 9DF United Kingdom (map)

Tuesday 21 June 2022
Arrival: for Dinner at 6.30pm
Depart: 9.30pm

"I saw a sight I never thought was possible. Something I shall never forget. Under the starlit sky, men and women were kneeling everywhere, outside the cottages, even behind the peat stacks, crying for God to have mercy upon them!"

Stories from the Hebridean Revival, which began in the north of the wild and windswept Isle of Lewis in 1949, are both strange and wonderful. What can we take from them; what can God teach us about the way that he works? Come for dinner and stay to hear tales of God's glory in what might seem an unlikely place!

Roger Simpson is a former vicar of St Michael le Belfrey, York and lifetime evangelist.

Led by: Roger Simpson
Cost: £20.00 to include dinner
