We are delighted to host this rather special kind of retreat, which has become a popular fixture of the Wydale programme. With a rhythm of prayer and worship that undergirds the whole event, the emphasis is on building our community and repairing the community’s home. We ask those who join us to work (mostly outside) for at least three hours each morning and to enjoy Wydale, North Yorkshire and each other’s company for the rest of the day, though many keep working and amazing projects are achieved. Community events happen most evenings; the quiz is becoming legendary. All welcome, but please do be aware that this retreat includes a lot of physical work which everyone is expected to do!
