Wydale has a diverse history.  Having been a hospital in the Great War and an army base housing soldiers and Italian prisoners of war in the Second World War.  In the 1950s the Hall was leased to the nuns of the Order of the Holy Paraclete.  This event is set in between the latter two uses - the soldiers and prisoners have gone, the nuns are yet to arrive and Wydale Hall will, in the spirit of the 1940s, host a party,  Come in suitable attire for afternoon tea, enjoy a carefree dinner (subject to the restrictions of continued rationing, of course) and spend the night at Wydale to a soundtrack of swing and jazz.

Cost:  £75.00 to include ration books, identity cards and full board.
