An opportunity to spend a day together, exploring ways in which we can each grow, in and through prayer. God has blessed us with a rich variety of means to encounter Him through prayer. A selection of these approaches will be introduced, with space to sample some.
Elaine is a Reader in the Christchurch network, Bridlington, where she currently serves in 2 churches in Bessingby Parish. She firmly believes in the power of intercessory prayer and the need for it in today’s world.
Rosemary became a Christian as a young adult and is an active member of her local church network and the York Anglican Cursillo Movement. Since retiring from counselling practice she has been serving in the ministry of Spiritual Direction and also discovered the joy of bringing creativity to her own faith journey.
