The Meaning Of Ascension

  • Wydale Hall Wydale Lane Scarborough, England, YO13 9DF United Kingdom (map)

Thursday 26 May 2022
Arrival: 9.45am
depart: 4.30pm

The Ascension is, for many, the least understood part of our Lord's ministry. It is far more than a way of getting Jesus off the earth - 'exit Jesus, stage up!' The Ascension is directly recorded by Luke, implied by John, and interpreted by Paul and in the letter to the Hebrews, where the ascended Lord trailblazes the way into the Father's presence. Above all it assures us that the incarnation is a permanent reality. This is a study day which will conclude with an act of worship.

Led by: Graham Cray
Cost: £25.00 including lunch and refreshments
